The Company has operated within the general Freight Forwarding and Contract Distribution sector for the past 10 years.
Due to the increased demand for a total logistics package, the company invested in a state of the art logistics facility in Dublin.
This facility comprises of 25,000 sq feet of high bay, narrow aisled warehousing which is the equivalent to 40,000 sq feet of standard warehousing and encompasses areas for quarantine, assembly, packing and quality control areas. This combined with a state of the art Warehouse IMS & Freight IFMS management system and our thriving Globel Air & Ocean Division as well as National and International Road Freight Department provide our company and its customers with a modern logistics solution.
United Cargo Services is a well-resourced, successful and growing business, which is staffed by experienced professionals who are the dedicated to its customer base and their business. We successfully provide service to a Blue Chip client base which is constantly expanding.
QUALITY POLICYOur policy in United Cargo Services Limited is to achieve and maintain a standard of service, which compares with and exceeds the best of our competitors both nationally and internationally. The managing director has overall responsibility for a system designed to achieve this objective.The system provides for establishing and reviewing specific quality objectives and meets the requirements of ISO 9001 (2000). All employees have been made aware of the objective and their responsibilities, obligations and authority in regard to the system. We are committed to a policy of continuous improvement to enable us to continue to meet the needs of our customers.The quality policy statement is displayed in all appropriate areas of the company. Each manager and supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all employees under their control understand and implement the quality system.This process of defining, reviewing and communicating our quality policy is part of our management process.
